I am so sorry you had to endure and hold these things that were perpetrated against you. You have shared your story with such grace and strength. I admire your courage. Curiously, earlier today I began an audio book by Rupi Kaur, "Milk and Honey" who is also from India and is sharing her similar story. So much of what you shared resonates eerily with what she is sharing. I'm a bit overwhelmed as I was not aware of the commonality of this behavior in India. It has given me a new area to pray into for young children who have no chance of escape and have no one to advocate for them against this abuse. Thank you again Mansi for being so vulnerable and brave. I pray for continued freedom and healing for you.

I am so sorry for all of those horrible sins in your young life and although I do not have your gift of the beautifully written word, I do want you to know how much you are admired and loved for all your talents. Your daughter is so blessed to have you as her mom.

It's my hope that in doing so, I am creating a path for my daughter to grow up in a world where she feels not only empowered, but also inspired to chase her own dreams without reservation, to have the courage to voice her concerns, to design her own life with gumption and race, and to always know that her strength and resilience are limitless.
